"Sunkissed Sea Turtles"
"Sunkissed Sea Turtles" is solely carved and designed by me: Jonas Olsen. The sculpture is a family of Sea Turtles carved out of Birch burl sourced from an unknown area around Oslo, Norway. They have been attached to a walnut board with brass pins.
I tried to capture a calm and pleasent moment of the sea turtles wandering around in familiar waters.
This sculpture is a part of the sculpture projects i went through with for the summer of 2026.
Signed on the back side as shown in one of the pictures.
Spesifications:
- Turtles: Birch Burl
- Finish: 3 Coats of danish oil.
- Back plate: Black Walnut
- Hung on wall with two sturdy screws attached 60 cm or 40 cm appart on the top back side of the sculpture.

Processing time for creating the shipping crate and packaging takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks for sculptures. Shipping usually takes 1-3 weeks internationally.
