"Frida" SOLD

"Frida" was made in the spring/Summer of 2024 in Northern Norway. Originally it was designed to be a Polar bear sleeping with waves tucked around it, But during the carving process it was changed to an Otter since it would be a better match with the woodgrain. This was the final sculpture the artist made before the berry season of 2024 which Jonas Olsen often takes vacations for due to his passion of harvesting berries.

This is and will probably forever be one of the sculptures that Jonas Olsen is the most proud of and thanks to the current owner it resides in Switzerland (2025).
