"Autumn 2" SOLD

"Autumn 2" was made in the autumn of 2025. Just like "Autumn 1" it builds on a concept where autumn marks the end of the abundance of food for the fox and more uncertain times lies ahead. The fox lies on the leaf at the mercy of the colder seasons that lies ahead.

The inspiration for the Autumn series arrived from the fascination i have when i see animals surviving thourgh the harsh winter months where i am from in Northern Norway. I find it hard to understand how a fox makes it in snow that is often over a meter deep and very little food to find.

The leaf is made from Figured Black Walnit and the fox is carved from Birch burl wood.
